House Update

Alot has gone on this week.

Tuesday, McKinney began the exterior lath.

Wednesday, scratch coat

Friday, Brown Coat. (I dont have pictures of that up yet), but it looks similar minus the scratch marks.

They should be back a week from Monday to color coat, and then the exterior will look finished...minus fascia painting, and lights, and other misc. finish.

Jesse's insulation, came to insulate the ceiling. We have found yet another construction trade Jesse will NOT be entering. Oh well.

Ron and Mike were able to start hanging the lid yesterday, and they also got some of Brody's interior walls up.

The main electrical was pulled from the pole to the panel in the addition. Mike ran all the interior wire and hung all the boxes. Everything was tested and works. Of course, Mike is now on a cocky streak about his fabulousness and how he is the king of electricians...But, if he wasn't acting cocky about this, it would be something else. It is nice being married to perfection. :) Mike told me the other night, that although I can't do anything else right...the one thing I did do right was to marry someone as great as him.

Is that a compliment for me?

Anyway, today was the BIG day.

There is now a hole in our house connecting the addition to the kids room! Now work can begin on the new hallway. I want to update with pictures of this demo, but Mike has the power turned off right now while he works his electrical magic... ;/

Anyway, things are coming along well, and quickly.

Janee is "relieved" being her new bedroom is a mattress on the floor in the living room. Which by the way, Brody thinks is the greatest trampoline ever.....what a cluster.....
