24 weeks, 1 day

Today, I am trying to organize some thoughts on what I need for this new baby X.

I am hoping to replace the car seat and diaper bag, for a bigger model, given I will have all of B's nonsense as well as X's. I am also still in need of a bouncer, for sure, and possibly a swing - although I may act smart for once and hold off on the swing until X is born and see if I can get by with bouncer only.

B was down with the swing every once in awhile, but they are bulky, ugly, and he really didnt like it any better than the bouncer had he of not known better. I did manage to keep the greatest invention ever, which is the snap and go swing attachment. (You can attach your carseat to a swing base). This was the best being B lived in his car seat. And by lived, I mean, slept at night, napped, ate, swung, ect...

I loved the bouncer I had for B, but can't find anything similar. It folded up small, but was sturdy. I hate the ones the have a rounded metal base, which it seems most do. (B learned how to bounce himself right over the edge and ended up on the floor a few times - with seat belt still on). I found one I actually like, and is decent looking to have at your house, but of course, it is the $70.00 model. But, it seems safer than the $40.00 metal cheesy ones. So we will see.

And I think I am the worst parent ever because I hate kid looking stuff. Why does it all have to be so cheesy and gawdy looking?

Then there is the double stroller debate of '09. Front to back, vs. side by side.

Front to back has the biggest basket ever!!!!

Side by side = small basket, but lighter.

Mike thinks I am fine with a heavy stroller, but I will freak out about the lack of storage. I tend to agree but of course I have to 2nd guess every decision I make.

So, today is my day to organize my thoughts and stop being indecisive...

And thank god, I already have most of the things I need and am not having to start from scratch.
