I have been slacking off updating on construction. I havent been able to take good pics because the rooms are to smallish to stand in one end and get a picture of the whole thing.
We painted today.
I spent the better part of yesterday in hell. Aka, vacuuming drywall dust off the floor and wiping down every inch of the walls with a damp cloth and then followed it up with painting all the ceilings.
Mike got paint on the walls in Jesse & Brodys rooms. We made a schedule today and move in day is scheduled for a week from tomorrow. I am afraid of documenting this on here, for fear we will be wrong.
Jesse has moved into the living room as well. So you can imagine the disaster the house has become.
Brodys 2nd birthday party was last weekend. It was a good time I think. I spent so much time fixing margs I couldnt drink and preparing food I am not sure how it went actually.
B got some neat things and a bunch of gift cards to Target so we can buy him some room stuff.
And the house was stuccoed. We now have a fabulous dark gray house. Mike got half the fascia painted with a darker gray. My cousin suggested painting the doors red and I am really liking that idea.
I had my 23 week dr. appt on Tuesday. I was worried she would lecture me for hours on why I didnt go to the emergency room the other night. (no big deal, everything is fine, but we werent sure for a few hours). My Dr. doesnt mess around. The day after she told me to go, she called and when M answered and told her I wasnt home, nor at the hospital, she started up on him to. Yay for the Dr.!!
Surprisingly she said nothing about it.
The baby is fine, my belly is growing at the right rate, and she sent me home with the orange liquid for the glucose test. Shit.
Please dont fail. I cant hang with not being allowed to have sugar.
Oh and I gained 8 pounds. This sounds bad, but she wasnt tooooo pissed of considering I have only gained 2 so far this pregnancy prior to this. But of course warned me to watch it. I didnt tell her that I think 7 1/2 pounds of it is from not going to the bathroom...sorry tmi, but it is the truth.
That is it for now!

I can't wait to see the house. I like the red door idea, too.
What happened that you should have gone to the ER?
I am taking a 1-hour GTT on Saturday. Ugh.
