What a cluster the last few weeks have been.

Mike got back from his week long trip to Redding and the kids are back in school...so it is chaos again.

Harlee is teething like crazy, which is new to me...B was got his first tooth on his first B'day and really had no symptoms prior....compared to my little nightmare/angel.

She was sleeping from 7pm to 5am....now she sleeps from 7:30 to 1am, to 3am to 5am...and not to eat. Just because. And then she cant go back to sleep. It sucks and I am dying for a tooth.

Please come tooth. Seriously. I want to sleep sometime in life.

I am not one to offer a pacifier....and they say you should get rid of them by 4 months if you use them. Well I tried to start one at 4 months...and since then only use it for her falling asleep at night....she is def. not attached to one but it works as a nice mouth plug when we are in public and she decides that would be a good time to start screeching for no reason. However she is to lazy to suck it in to her mouth....so I improvised....

BTW, her new favorite sound to make is a high pitched shrill screech. No she is not mad or crying....it is her new thing much to my delight?

So between that shriek and her screaming in pain, if her pacifier shuts her mouth for 10 minutes, so be it.....and thank you so much sock monk. You are a life saver.

On the bright side, she DOES have super alert and super happy moments. She grabs for things now, and can actually aim to pick them up and holds them in her mouth like a TEETHING RING! And loves her excersaucer. I am thinking this week I will try her out in B's old jumper too.

We got the pool up and running and were actually able to use it for awhile...which was nice since Janee celebrated her last soccer free weekend with a slumber party....of course B has to get in the mix and flirt...

And some other randoms.....

Day 4

Today was the first day Janee was able to change her earings. She got a $10.00 gift certificate to Icing for Easter, so yesterday before the carnival, I took her so she could pick out some earings...

I cleaned out Harlee's Dresser and switched out chunko's 3 month clothes for her 6 months clothes and found this outfit. I tried to take a decent picture of her but all she wanted to do is stretch out as huge as possible....at least she is smiling.

And then here is Mike's son eating a sandwich, which is always comedy....

"Oh - and in your face"

For those of you who think I live in the country and care to make fun...may I present you.....

This:

Now go ahead and tell me my area is not highly populated!!

However, secretly I too, am still wondering WTF? And so was Jesse, who as we began becoming more baffled by the situation, asked "do you want me to take a picture?"

Day 3

Today was the carnival at Dos Lagos.

I figured since nothing is ever going on around here...we may as well check it out. And it actually wasn't to bad.

Although pricewise, we may as well have gone to the OC fair!

Regardless I love that B is old enough to do some things now...I think Jesse is secretly glad to because although he is to cool for the fair, he can do stuff with B...and has an excuse.

The pictures can obviously speak for themselves minus this one.....This was taken in the 10 seconds B was happy on this ride. Despite Jesse standing by for comfort, he freaked out and burst into tears so much that the ride attendent had me go get him. Clearly you can see it is a terrifying ride....

On a sidenote....I love the irony of this funhouse....

The name: Cindy's dog house...how Ironic for a funhouse. Seriously.

Day 2...

I am an avid blog reader. I follow a bunch. It is like the super adult version of sitting at a bar with J - 6 years ago people watching....

You're still people watching, but from the comfort of your own home, after the kids are sleep or busy playing, in your pajamas....

With that said, everyone's life always sounds perfect. They have the best husbands, the best kids, the cutest clothes, and houses, ect. Meanwhile, all I do is talk shit...

I would like to say that I LOVE my life 99.9% of the time, but that makes for a boring story to tell....the nonsense is somthing I can relate to better...because that is what I deal with day in and day out..I have found ways to deal with life in a humerous way, because if I didnt, I would be crazy and I certainly would not be living the life I chose.

For example, how many of you have been approached my an exwife of your husband that it is necessary to have an exorcism at your house because it is haunted and would that be okay? Find humor. Period.

So, I would like it to be known that when I type this nonsense, it is me finding humor...

So today I would like to complain about stupidity as it relates to my family.

I would like to say I did not marry dumb. My husband will sit and talk about a trillion inventions he has that will out-do anything invented. And draw them up. If only he had the money to build. He will talk science, and calculate math...and on and on....He will problem solve anything you can throw at him. My step son is to smart for school. He has been in advanced placement for years and even THAT does not keep him interested...

My step daughter is a straight A student, so much so that her school sent her to another school for advanced placement.

And yet, they "cannot" find the miracle whip in the fridge that has been in the same spot for 6 years.

They are baffled by where to put dirty clothes.

Bring in another bag of dog food from the shed? How the hell?

OMG! I called my fried to spend the night but I got the answering machine!!!!! What do I say?

Seriously?

They KNOW this crap!!! WTF?

And so I would like to day that I am preparing to go on strike from "stupidity", or actually, pretend stupidity. I have no idea how to do this, but would love ideas.

Night 1

Well, I have been trying to get my kid to sleep now for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

So, being I am on the verge of craziness listening to her screaming...

I thought I would humor myself with these random pictures....

First, the king of all assholes. Look very closely at the sign in front of this truck....Please note it says "Home Depot Employee of the Month Parking Only"

And second is a blast from the past to Mike and I's hotel room in Palm Springs one vacation long ago.....

We were so excited to walk into our pool view room.....

We walk in, open the curtain and I will be damned if this is what we see...

Seriously with the curtain????

Day 1..

What a freakin' long night last night was.....

Anyone interested in what times ghetto blaster woke up last night? Probably not, but I dont care...

To bed at 7pm.

Up at 8pm, up at 9:30 pm, up at 11:30pm, up at 12:30 am, up at 2:30 am - fed, woke up at 4:30am and then again at 6am.

Please someone make her congestion go away.

I bought baby vicks today in desperation....it is probably a gimmick, but whatever at this point...So I plan to slather her up tonight and hope for the best.

On a brighter note, B has been bugging me for new sunglasses since he threw a tantrum and ripped his old ones apart. ??? WTF?

Anyway, my mother bought him a DVD he already had for Easter, so I bought in exchange a pair of sunglasses for him I found in the $1.00 section. Yes, they are ugly, but they were $1.00. After walking around the house carrying them for about 50 minutes, I finally caught him.

After that Jesse told me we needed to go to the library. True to form, he has a report due he needs books for when he goes back to school.....Yes, he told me this before school ended 3 weeks ago, and never brought it up again. Who's fault is that? Anyway, it killed some time and B was able to pick out a couple books.

Easter Temecula Trip

Ahhh 5 days in the sunshine...away from home. The boy will golf and fish, Janee and I can swim and hang out.....

Or 5 of the 6 of us can be super sick and it can rain half the time...

Of course the second option was what it was....

Jesse - Has a cold but becasue he is a guy, the world was ending......

Janee - Can't stop coughing. Dr. thinks it is allergies. She feels fine, but just coughs constantly.

Brody - Eye infection, allergies and bronchitis

Harlee - coughing up nastiness and choking on her food, but is to little to do anything for

Mike - on antibiotics for Strep Throat.

Me - losing my F'ing mind.

But like your typical A-holes, we dont cancel the trip despite knowing there is a chance of rain for the first 2 days and knowing full well we are going to be in a camping trailer together, we pack up all our prescriptions and medications and take off in two vehicles fully packed to the brim with crap...

Like you would expect. The first two days were miserable. Mike was threatening to pack up and leave the morning after we got there. I hadnt slept in days and was a nightmare.

Well the sun came out Finally on Friday and so did my parents, who stayed in a friend of theirs place out there for the weekend. We figured since they are loaning us their place for months, we may as well invite them over for a BBQ...

I tried to have some fun Easter festivitiess but it is hard with the age ranges of the kids I have. Jesse is to cool for Easter. Brody has no idea what the hell is going on, and Janee is the only one into it...

Hunting for Eggs:

(Notice Jesse holding the basket - he is to cool to hold it, but not to cool to keep the money in the eggs....)

Dying Eggs:

B was totally into it, until he realized he wasn't....

He was, however, very into the sugar cookie he decorated himself...

But they got alot of shit....

J and D of course came out for a visit. Love them. J had just gotten a new camera so it was a photo fest. I thought I should try to act like a real mom and snap some pictures too, but soon realized that I dont have the patience to photograph babies....

and besides the real action was on the other end...........

B also caught his first fish...with Janee of course....

And Jesse was able to spend some down time catching up on hot new films....

Like Thomas the Train......

Happy Belated Easter!

For Anyone Interested in Having 4 Children

Just sayin'
