Thanksgiving went well for everyone who isn't Brody.
Poor guy.
He woke up yesterday morning to NO Apple juice. Thanks Grandma. So I thought I would give him a cup of OJ. He downed it and then threw up, twice. Hugely. I assumed it was because of the acid and he would be over it....
Until he had the great poo debocle of 09. I will save the details, but I will say it took 3 of us to handle the situation.
He seemed to be acting fine though, so I wasn't really sure what to do with him. Then he exploded again which was a 2 man clean up, and then once more which was a 4 man cleanup plus a bath, a bottle of simple green and some rags clean up.
Not pretty.
To top it off, he ate shit walking in the house and scrapped up his arm pretty bad and only saved his face because he was carrying a stuffed animal which he fell on, then he fell down a step.
Happy Thanksgiving B!
Aside from all that BS, it was a great day. As always, Thanksgiving is at my mom's house and my uncle and family come over. I am as big as a house and totally uncomfortable, so rather than sitting down and relaxing which then causes me to have time on my hands to think about how heinous I feel, I chose to bust my ass instead to help time go by. It was nice to have 3 out of 6 cousins around to entertain B rather than having to do it myself.
And it was very sureal saying goodbye to everyone with them all saying "See you in a few weeks. With the baby!"
I am so excited to get this thing out of me, but it is really freaky to think about what is to come.
10 Days
And when I break it down even more, Sunday is shot with school shopping. The kids are back in school Monday, Soccer tuesday and Thursday, Friday my in laws arrive, and Saturday and Sunday are soccer tournaments and a baby shower....really, those 10 days should fly by pretty quickly!
On a super bright note, X dropped. Mike noticed it first. I can breath a bit better, and my back pain seems to be less painful for now. I can't say it will stay that way, but I made it through yesterday until about 8 pm before my back hurt, usually my back pain starts up around noon. The downside to this is none of my drawstring pants will stay up now, but with only a week-ish to go, I think I can make it.
I am off to help M work on the Christmas tree, and eat leftover chocolate pie. Happy belated Thanksgiving!
