Dr's appt today. I gained nothing. Finally!
M went with me, and we now have another decision to make. Tubes tied or no.
Dr W told us there is typically a 30 day waiting period for the permit to get the procedure done but they may be able to get it waived. We signed the paperwork for the request in hopes we can get it waived, however the decision is still not made. I have no desire to ever be pregnant again, and seriosly? 4 kids is plenty. But, it seems like alot.
Dr W, says the only side effect MAY be more severe period cramps. Other than that, nothing. No special recovery. No nothing.
They cut out a small portion or your tube, and that is that. Mike says it is either him or me, but since I am already cut apart, it may as well be me.
So, we will see.
First, we have to find out if e can get the procedure done in time. Then we need to find out if insurance covers it. Then, if both of those things happen, we can still change our minds up until the minute before I am drugged on the 7th.
Other than that, nothing is new with the pregnancy. She couldn't get a consistant read on the heartbeat because she was moving around ridiculously....which is odd considering she takes up my entire body..I am not sure where room to move comes from.
So, I have one final appointment next Tuesday, and then I go into Hoag for all me pre-op bloodwork and paperwork, and then the 7th is the surgery.
