2 weeks from today

The weekend was pretty uneventful/eventful, depending on how you look at it.

Thursday night was spent at Lowes to get the shelving material for X's shelves and then Barnes and Noble to pick up some last minute gifts for the kids.

Friday, Mike hung shelves in X's room. Which are still sitting empty because the baby has sucked out my brain and I totally forgot he put them in until I started typing this. Once those are stocked, I plan to take some pics of the room, finally and will post some.

Saturday was Janee's last soccer game of the regular season. They are #1 in their league, they are undefeated and will be going to the playoffs December 5 & 6. The weekend before the C-section. We all have high hopes for them and expect them to do pretty well this year.

Mike and Janee went out to run some errands and came home accouncing that there was to be a Christmas tree lighting shindig at Dos Lagos, which we decided to go to. We took the kids to dinner at BJ's prior to celebrate both kids getting good report cards this trimester. (For the first time since I have been around.) (Fantastic!) The tree lighting was lame...and my back hurt so damn bad I had to sit down like a little old lady behind the stage while the rest of the group watched the activities for all 5 seconds before they were bored.

Sunday was Janee's soccer party at Scandia which is a mini golf course/go kart racing thing with roller coasters in Ontario. The girls had fun.

I have a Dr.s appointment tomorrow. This is my SECOND to last ONE! hurray! I am SO over this pregnancy! I have either a butt of a foot in my ribs at all times now. Today, I was trying to sit in a chair and couldnt get comfortable due to the foot kicking my ribs and I was barfy because my stomach was getting smashed and pushed.

Mike walked up to me the other night with a butter knife and pretended to poke me in the stomach and then made the balloon deflating sound which I could only laugh at because I so wish it were that easy :)

And my dad asked me if I was sure I wanted to bake pies for Thanksgiving because of my condition.

I waddle, I look a mess, I am uncomfortable. She is done and so am I.

BUT

To leave on a positive note: I can only eat bites at a time so I feel like I am totally already on my post pregnancy diet.
