Almost a week ago, some fabulous friends came over to help us out. And when I say us, I mean Mike, Ron and Jesse. I mean, it would be nice if some friends came over to help me vacuum and do laundry, but really, who would ever ask for that? Or offer, for that matter....
So, Donny showed up on time (with apparently, what was the joke of the day, hammer), and Rich came down hungover and an hour late. Late is better than never of course.
They separated into two teams: Mike & Jesse, the roofers and Ron, Rich, and Donny, shear panel.
Despite the 105 degree weather, much work was accomplished. Along with the occasional humorous moments....like Donny shouting Romeo, Romeo from the inside of the window, and Rich unknowingly climbing up a ladder right below the window.
Even Brody wanted to hang with the men, and get to work.

Just so you know...Donny went out and bought a REAL man's hammer last weekend. :)I am still amazed that he brought his whimpy picture hanger hammer, but it's Donny. Whatcha gonna do?
