First off, I have to complain that I have not slept a full night in weeks. Last night was the last straw. I woke up at 2am, and laid in bed till 5. Then got up. My back hurts so bad, I can't get comfortable. Not sure what to do. I can't take Tylenol PM. I am going to freak out. Not that this is necessarily different from every other day...but seriously. I need to sleep.

The weekend was pretty nice.
My neighbor called me up to add to the clusterfuck around here. We are grateful, and overwhelmed at the same time. Just as we finished trying to shove crap in every last nook and cranny of the house, she gave us back all of our baby stuff. 1 bassinet, 1 walker, 1 excersaucer, 1 large stroller, 1 stroller frame, 1 car seat, 1 bumbo seat, 5 packs of newborn diapers, 1 bag of maternity clothes, 2 car seat bases, about 6 bags of little girl clothes, most with tags, 1 bottle sterilizer, on and on. The best part was none of it was used by her, since she bought all new stuff for her twin girls. I am not sure why she stored it for this long, but who cares...we just saved hundreds of dollars.
Doors and door hardware were installed, as well as all windows. I had to take this picture because this is what happens after working long days for weeks straight, I think. I walked out in the middle of this, and asked the what I thought might turn out to be a stupid question "Why is the handle on the top?" Mike looked at it and said "Why is the door handle on top?" And Ron looked at it and said "That is how it came in the box?". So, they had to take it off, and put it in the right place.
So, they finished it up, ahead of schedule and took the afternoon off to play golf. Much needed. This was a relief to me, since I was dying to go to take the kids to the OC Fair. Which I did, and we spent way to much money on overpriced rides and food. I am glad I can't drink, for once. I used to love to get a beer and walk around and look at the farm animals, like a total hick, but who needs to be spending 4 million dollars on a beer, or whatever equally ridiculous price they were. The average price for both kids to ride 1 ride, was $9.00. F off fair! Luckily Janee brought her ka-gillions, so they were mostly entertained wasting money on games. Janee did get lucky and won 2 miniature stuffed animals, that probably cost her a total of $75.00. Good for her :/. BUT despite the overpriced nonsense that is the fair, we all had fun. And it was a nice break from all the chaos around here.
Anyway, here is the finished up exterior prior to stucco. They are here beginning that today, while Mike and Ron work on electrical.
Oh, and note the truck and trailer, full of all of our drywall!!

So awesome that your neighbor kept all that stuff! Jackpot!
I totally died laughing at the door handle with the hole at the bottom. I would have asked the exact same thing! WTF? I love it! Poor guys must be so OVER the remodel. But hey, that's lots of progress!! Drywall? Stucco? Wooohoo!
PS: I too have been having HORRIBLE lower back pain and migraines. I would love to sleep more than just in 2 hour shifts. Hope you feel better soon!
Where the hell do you live?
