Things I hate:

Pampers

Why the hell does everyone buy them? They use some kind of funky scent in their diapers that causes irritations and constant diaper rashes in both my kids...and I know 3 other people with the same issues...so it isn't just me. And yet, hospitals use them. So, newborns are supposed to be so senstive and all that, and they provide you with diapers that are not for sensitive skin.

So, stock up on diaper rash cream and baby power.

<3 huggies.

And by the way.......the kirkland diapers from Costco are identical to huggies and so are the up and up brand from Target....hmm...wonder why?

Things I LOVE:

1) My new electric blanket.

Ever since I had H, I have been sweqating my ass off at night (obviously), but am freezing.

Mike calls my nighttime routine "suiting up" because I wear 2 pairs of socks, a crochet pair of slipper things, a long sleeve shirt and flannel pants and sometimes my robe.....and then I pile 6 (no exagerating) blankets on the bed. This makes my bedding weigh 6oo lbs and it always falls on the floor. H is now 5 weeks old and Mike finally made the suggestion after 5 weeks of complaining to buy an electric blanket.

Holy crap!!!! It is the greatest thing EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!! It weighs nothing and yet is warmer than all my layers together. So now I can sleep in peace in Pj's. <3 love.

2) Sketchers shape-ups.

So UGLY. I would never wear them in public. But since I never sit down at home and am always walking, I decided I would try them out. (Besides I had $60.00 in Kolhs cash...they were almost free).

Holy shit, I am actually sore at night, from doing the SAME thing I do in a normal day.

My closet is FILLED with Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive diapers. I have heard they are by far the best. Ugh. I do have diaper rash cream on hand, though. =/

Holy crap I can't believe you bought those heinous shoes that I make fun of every time I see. I guess if they really work though, that's pretty sweet. I haven't had any major problems with pampers but my kids always leak with huggies. I don't like the Costco diapers because they bunch up like wads of toilet paper when the diaper gets wet and I would hate to have my bare butt sitting on a pile of wet wads. So far Luvs have been the best for us, they stink, and sag more than the others but they can hold a lot of liquid. Congrats on the electric blanket, sounds really cozy!
