Quick update

There is just no time.

I put "update blog" on my to-do list.And being it has been weeks since I have gotten around to it, that should tell you I am to busy, or don't care enough to spend 15 minutes of energy into it. Either way, ironically, as I sat down to type this post, I realize my camera is dead. I guess part of teaching Brody to take a picture, is teaching him to turn the camera off......(BTW - he is pretty good. Now If I could get Harlee on the same page, I might actually get some pictures of myself with the kids)

So now I have a half ass update: Words - no pics. B.o.r.i.n.g.


Mike has been working all kinds of side jobs, which is good because: Breaking news: the economy sucks. But this also means I get to do his jobs around here...like picking Jesse up from football practice from 5:30 to 6:30. Right when I am usually home cooking dinner and getting the kids bathed and in bed...so this causes a little nighttime cluster.

I was down to a good science for awhile....dinner at 6, J's cleanup kitchen while I put H down. I clean the kitchen, put B in bed with "Mighty Machines" movie - yes I suck, but I need him out of my mix while I do school....

Regardless, we make it work, and I am grateful so many people have plumbing issues.

Jesse is doing fantastic at football. Mike was really impressed with him at the Mater Dae game, but knowing Jesse as we do..that could have been a fluke..but he played in the last 2 games just as well. They have won all but 1 game, so this season is turning well so far.

Janee has straight A's.

I might cry while typing this - I shaved Brody's head. Here is me - The hairdresser - staring at my kids white blond pretty hair all day pissed of and annoyed that there is 1 chop mark in the back - WHICH honestly is pretty damn good considering the kid won't sit still to sleep...But that 1 little chop mark (that no one else could see) DROVE ME NUTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I thought - hey, my kid is the cutest damn kid in the world......he can totally pull off a shaved head, it will take me 3 minutes to do, it will be even, then it will grow out evenlyy. I stick the razor on his head and I swear I got  tear. I purposely shaved his bang area first knowing I couldn't go back.

Now, he just looks like any random annoying kid at the park. I HATE it. And so does he because now he can't "Lift it up!" " I want to lift my hair up mom"

He misses twirling his hair - where does he get that from?

Harlee says mamamamamama now. She looks at me while saying it so I know she knows what she means. She walks pushing her baby stroller. When I say walks, I don't mean like she is strutting down the cat walk. I mean walk like the stroller starts to move and she has no idea what to do so she panics and flails her legs and happens to put on foot in front of the other. But, nevertheless, she is walking. And she will do this across the entire house.....
