I am recalling the rad weekend past, and decided I am totally pissed off I dont have more balls. Why didn't I ask the cowboy in only a speedo, with a belt, cowboy boots and cowboy hat for a picture? He was clearly only wearing it for show...and probably would have made some equally heinous pose to go along with the outfit....and yet all I have, is the memory...
All and all the weekend was fabulous. Somewhat irritating being the only sober person amongst 600,000 drunks...(I dont think I am exagerating..) My husband being one of them. However, gettign to see Kenny Chesney last night made up for the whole deal. I <3 him, so he was rad to me, but honestly, he sounded like shit. If I heard him for the first time last night, I am not so sure I would buy a CD.
And Kid Rock! I think I am going to work on becoming his #1 fan!
The camping situation was OOC. We got there on Friday early, and it was already more than half full. I don't think the whole weekend, I walked by any campsites that did NOT have drinking games set up and everyone in the group holding beers or cocktails...or already drunk. This includes our 7am coffee run. I am not sure I have ever had a beer at 7am. That is a little hard core, even for me...but apparently not to hard core for some!
Once my lazy ass gets some energy, I will update with a few choice pictures.

7 Weeks
B says a word finally. Penday. He points to everything with excitement and says penday. or pen de? I am so excited he is trilingual. Seriously, he uses that word constantly and I know he is trying to speak, but have no idea what the hell he is saying. So far, he speaks Chinese, Spanish, and my mom thinks Vietnamese.
So, I leave Friday morning for Stagecoach Festival and won't see B till Monday, and can I tell you what a wreck I am? I started getting sad on Monday and it is getting worse. I am thinking it is mostly because I am preggo and emotional, but I am so sad....
I actually feel good today. Only slight nausea, and a pounding headache.
And of course the boob situation.

6 weeks, 5 days (My estimate)
I actually feel good today. I was concerned because I woke up feeling pukey. But once I was done making the kids nasty sandwiches with disgusting nasty miracle whip....things started picking up. I even was able to get down my one blessed cup of coffee I have a day!
You have no idea what a bitch I have been lately. Pregnant and moody, nonsmoking and moody, detoxed and moody, and decaffinated and moody.
So, the fact that I was able to get that little cup of coffee down was fabulous. And I am hoping this will help with the daily migrane too.
Mike is at home. He drove all the way to work in Dana point only to turn around and come home. The jobsite is closed due to a death that happened over the weekend. They don't really know any details yet. OSHA says construction is one of the most dangerous professions to work in, and deaths are pretty common.
Anyway, since he is home, he is working on our swamp cooler and trying to get it back in action for this coming summer. This is great considering it was 100 degrees out here and today isn't supposed to be cooler. I am SO glad we weren't home yesterday. It is one thing to sit outside in the heat, but inside? no thanks!
The good news is we got everything all worked out as far as planning for Stagecoach this weekend. That is one stress freed from my mind. And we checked the weather and Friday is 90, Sat was 88 and Sun was about the same. Which is better than this passed weekend 104! Perfect!
I am off before Mike catches me on here and thinks this is what I do all day when he is not home....

Things Change...
I got my BFP on Monday of last week....and holy Shit, things are different this time around. With B, he was "non existant" until I spent 6 days in the hospital and brought him home. Then it was like, Wow! I have a baby!
This one.....I have been waling around in general state of "almost about to throw up but not bad enough to sit in the bathroom and actually do it".
I have major mood swings. I hate all, and then I cry because I love everyone so much.
And if anyone has any idea how I can get comfortable sleeping at night with my boobs hurting so bad, let me know!
Oh, and dare I even mention the constant headache that feels like my brain is about to push out of the back of my skull?
Luckily, the kids have been as annoying as possible lately, so that helps... ?!?!? Or is that all me? :)
I was trying not to say anything about this for awhile, just to be safe...but Mike started blabbing. Mike? of all people! All of the sudden people in New mexico and Colorado are emailing me....
So, consequently, I can now talk about it here. '
I have my next Drs appointment April 28th, which will last an hour or so and be the full test of all. Bloodwork, pap, ect.
I am dreading this already because I <3>
But the good news is, during this, we get to discuss, as the nurse put it "The great risks involved with me having a vaginal birth vs. the much safer scheduled C-section, since I had one last time".
MUSIC to my EARS!!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously.
Anyway, as I was clearing out my pictures, I found this gem from my dad's 67th birthday party. It was a margarita fest. And man, those old people out there in Temecula can drink. I went through 1 1/2 bottles of tequila, in a half hour.
But, before the fun began, the men had to set up a heat lamp. How many construction workers does it take to hook up a propane heater?
4, 2 to Supervise and 2 to do the work.

Holy Mood Swings!!
Since I am constantly behind, here is the "finished" shed. We are still trying to figure out what to do with the wood of the deck and handrail. Paint? Stain? Let it sit out in the elements and deteriorate? Put up deck boxes of plants I have to take care of?

Mike's Mom and Dad left this morning. It was pretty sad. Or I am over emotional. Yesterday, I needed a punching bag, today I am a mess. I shouldn't even mention that trading spouses brought tears to my eyes....
The plan is for him to go to Mike's niece's wedding in New Mexico, Friday. Then either drive home or up to Redding. Then they will drive back out to California in June for nephews wedding, and then stay here for the addition.
That gives us 2 months to pull our shit together and regroup. That electric changeover wasn't cheap, nor was the shed.
The big project now is filling back up the trench...Even B is getting into the spirit of things.....

Happy Belated Easter!
Easter = The new old fart holiday at the Graff house.
The only reason easter eggs were hidden was because I knew Janee would ask me 400 times a day when the easter egg hunt is, for the next year, and Jesse would try to say we owe him money next year for the hunt in '09 that never took place....So, like the fabulous fun parents we are, we put i.o.u's in the eggs.
It is a great plan really. You put paper in the eggs, and then hide them as crazy as you can. When they can't find them, and you can't remember where you hid them, you aren't out anything! And you save money!!
So, Mike's mom and dad were here, as well as my parents, and then Mike's uncle and his wife. We had a nice chicken BBQ, and chatted about adult type things, like the economy, and tomatoes being on sale.
I love being older.
Today was the kids first day back on track.
And I am moooooody. I would like to not have to deal with any of the 3 of them, and I have been dreading Mike coming home from work. I just want to sit, by myself, and not be bothered....but of course they are all in my mix.
Maybe it is the not smoking? Hmmm....Will not give in. By the way, it has been a week of no smokes, today!

Well, the power changeover went successfully! It was the strangest feeling when Edison came out at 8am, and cut off all the wires to our house and drove off.
I have had power outages before, but you pretty much get a sense of security in the fact that it will be fixed. But never have I had all source of energy cut off...which out here, also means water. (No power to the well and water pump..)
We were back in business by 3:00pm.
What a long day though.
Today, after Mike is done golfing with the other men, he plans to come home and replace all of our piping for our water to the house, and then we fill the trench.
8 tons of pea gravel was delivered here yesterday and I am sure we will see Jesse cry when he comes home and sees the pile and the shovels.....
So, Ron has been here 6 weeks...and we have a new shed, new power set up and new water piping.
Linda flies in tonight to Ontario, and then both of them leave Wednesday morning for Mike's nieces wedding in New Mexico. Congrats Lauren!
Hopefully Ron will be back end of June, beginning of July to begin work on the addition! We are so close... :)
