The Twilight Zone

Amongst other random things going on that are to much to blog about.....some other random occurrences....

Neighbor R came down last night for a couple beers and some conversation. We find out that they are moving to a house they bought in Hemet. First of all Hemet? And second...why?

He rents the property from his girlfriends parents who owe waaay more on the house than it is worth, so they are foreclosing.

Which brings me to the next question....what will happen with that property? one can only imagine the delights than will move in.

So then today The J's mother drops them off and wants to see me. Come to find out she backer the Lexus she borrows into our brand new addition.

And for anyone who cares....this happened Saturday. Yes, I know she told us today. Don't ask.

Don't get me wrong, the house will not fall over. But there is an obvious indentation and it is cracked from the spot she hit all the way to the corner. And her car is marked up.

Seriously?

After all this dies down we get a knock on the door and it is an OLD neighbor....like one we used to hang out with often, but disappeared before M and I were married. WTF?

Needless to say, it is time for a day trip out of this joint. So tomorrow B, H and I are taking a trip to the Orange Circle to Meet Grandma for lunch and some antique shopping. Not sure how I will maneuver a double stroller around that joint...but it is what it is.
