Seriously. If I don't talk to a girlfriend who is drama free soon, I am not sure I will make it. I used to enjoy a cocktail on the deck at night with husband. But, husband is busy working all day, everyday now. So, I thought why not get in touch with friends I rarely had time for before and crap, now I have the answer. Why not? Because people are nonsense. Preggos with crazy scenarious, wacky ex's, bar drama...Shut up.
Nothing else is really new out here as usual. We have our new power pole in the ground. Now it is a matter of digging a 2 foot deep trench from the pole, all the way to the electrical box and running new wires, followed by the county inspection. I will say though, never in my life have I looked at a power pole and thought, "wow! that is a good looking power pole". Until now. (And I was just calling some of my friends wacky...)
Then we had a slight change of plans with the shed. Being the platform was built with the intent of a playhouse on it, not a house, it is not nearly as strong as it should be. So rather than the painting we were planning on doing last weekend....last weekend was spent pouring more footings to add additional piers.
Typical construction. Plan on one thing, and 4 other things come up instead. <3 just like being at work full time.

The construction seems like a blast! Can't wait to chug a beer with you on Saturday and rant about my last week with friends. I have a great story for ya!
